Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game produced and released by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It's his fourth episode from the Five Nights At Freddy's series. This time around, there are three teenagers - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who've only nights at freddy's 4 gotten a job in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza outlet in Fazbear City. The very first night, they are about to go on a trip to the park in which Freddy conducts his restaurant. Freddy is a fan of films like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", so he's excited about seeing it .
After settling their cash, they go out to Freddy's Pizza on the night that he is advised to start his series. They are dressed to impress, as Freddy is a very famous artist. The doors of the office are open, but as Jason and Billy rush in, Freddy grabs them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Inside, Freddy takes off his mask, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately starts to assault Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magical powers to turn people into stone or to make different things move on their own - such as a truck ahead of Jason. In addition, he makes Jason feel ill. Freddy also uses his ability to control people, like when he makes Jason thinks he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is much more frightening when he touches Jasonturning him into a sword. Jason is able to fight back, but by using his special powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to grab Freddy, but Freddy uses his power to throw Jason into a different dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads back to Freddy's Pizza.
However, Freddy has an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his heart. If Jason kills Billy or even Jason, he will end up with a decoration. So, Jason and Billy visit the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights in Freddy's turns the regular point and click action game in the previous games into a full-blown horror experience. The images are amazing. The sound is great. The voice acting is excellent. But, there are some glitches in the storyline.
Freddy is always around, but he attacks Jason or Billy. Freddy is merely a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are actually fake, and that Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy must find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it's too late.
While the story of Five Nights at Freddy's is an interesting one, it might not be the best one around. Because of the way the game was put together, the events which happen may appear unnecessary or confusing at first. But as soon as the narrative and the characters are clarified and the storyline begins to fall into place, the game begins to make sense.
